Bacon Companies hosts Milton CAT demonstration for local students

Bacon Companies proudly opened the doors of our 510 South St. shop in Hoosick Falls for a Milton CAT and equipment demonstration with Hoosick Falls CSD students! At the demonstration, students were able to get a close look at heavy equipment machinery operation and ask questions to some of our professionals to get real-world answers. Our team was excited to interact with a new generation of bright and curious minds, hoping to create an interest in the trade after graduating.

For years, Milton CAT has been a trusted partner for Bacon Companies, providing reliable construction equipment. Their commitment to quality machinery aligns perfectly with our dedication to excellence, and we were particularly privileged to have Kathryn Ellmauer from Milton CAT join us. Ellmauer shared insights into potential career paths within the construction sector with the students.

Also at the demonstration, students had the opportunity to see heavy equipment machinery up close and personal. They were able to see the controls, gaining an understanding of how they work, their role in construction, and the skills needed to operate them. Seeing the sheer size, power and precision of the machinery generated interest and curiosity about the construction industry as a career.

The demonstration was an opportunity for us to engage with a new generation of bright minds who might one day shape the future of construction. The Bacon Companies team of construction professionals was on hand to answer questions the students had. They shared their experiences, explained the challenges and rewards of working in the trade, and provided real-world answers. This interaction was not just enlightening for the students but also exciting for our team, who were eager to share their passion for the industry.

We thank Milton CAT and Hoosick Falls CSD for their support in making this event a success. Together, we look forward to shaping a bright future for the construction industry!
