Paving the Path to Paradise: Bacon Companies LLC Supports Berkshire Bird Sanctuary's Mission and Expansion Project
We are excited to have provided paving services for a local bird sanctuary, the Berkshire Bird Paradise, helping them move forward with their mission to provide quality care for disabled and displaced birds.
About Berkshire Bird Paradise: Berkshire Bird Paradise, a haven founded in the late 1970s by the compassionate Peter Dubacher, began as a labor of love and remains committed to its humanitarian mission. The sanctuary offers a safe haven for injured wild birds as well as domesticated and exotic birds in need of a new forever home. Their philosophy is rooted in the belief that every bird deserves a chance to enjoy quality long-term care, without the threat of euthanasia. Here, each bird's special needs are met, allowing them to live comfortably and naturally.
Our team at Bacon Companies was honored to pave the area in front of the newest building at the sanctuary, which is now home to the pigeon residents. This new and improved birdhouse marks an exciting chapter in Berkshire Bird Paradise's ongoing expansion, and we are delighted to have played a part in it.
The sanctuary isn't stopping here! More renovations are underway, with a visionary long-term goal to lay blacktop throughout the premises, ensuring the sanctuary is fully handicap accessible. This initiative will not only improve accessibility for visitors but also enhance the overall experience for both the birds and their caretakers.
At Bacon Companies LLC, we are committed to supporting projects that align with our values of community, compassion, and sustainability. We look forward to seeing the continued growth and success of Berkshire Bird Paradise and are excited to watch as their dreams for the sanctuary become a reality.
